In June 2022, UK Border Force stopped what looked like an ordinary freight vehicle arriving at Dover.
It wasn’t routine. Acting on intelligence, officers searched the load — and uncovered forty kilograms of Class A substance hidden inside.

The shipment was worth around four million pounds on the UK market.

Two men were nowhere near Dover when it was seized.
Rajesh Bakshi, a 57-year-old British Indian man living in Scotland.
Jon-Paul Clark, 44, based in Liverpool.

They believed the missing shipment meant no evidence.
They were wrong.

Forensic analysis told a different story. Fingerprints. DNA. Phone data placing both men in the Netherlands and Belgium days before the interception.
