Memoranda Notebook. (US Military)
The Military has used these little notebooks for over forty years.
The olive green vinyl cover is tough and flexible, the paper is thick and blue lined.
You can use a fountain pen and there's no bleed through.
I used these books when I was in the US Navy and I loved them.
WheelBook, Pocket Brain, Pocket Memory, Will Book, whatever they were called, they
were part of the day to day and they helped to keep things straight.
No page space is wasted and very durable, these little books earned a soft spot in my heart.
When I left the military and found myself needing to keep track of things,
I tried digital/electronic methods of note keeping.
But, I found that nothing beats the analog method.
So, I bought and carried different notebooks and notepads.
I even tried to go minimalist and carry a modified money clip notepad.
It's really easy to over complicate things.
Notebooks had a revival over the past decade and more people carry notebooks or journals.
They have their favorites and the Moleskine was or maybe still is, the notebook of choice.
If you wanted to be cool, you need to carry a little notebook or journal and the "little black books" were
hip and if it was expensive, that was even better.
I bought into that for awhile, but I was always looking for an inexpensive version of the Moleskine.
A MoleSkine knock off or a something similar.
I'm not a numbers guy, but the cost per sheet of paper breakdown in these snazzy notebooks is pretty high.
Trendy notebooks like Field Note Pads and Moleskine average a MUCH higher cost per sheet. Sometimes $.60!
(At 144 pages the Memoranda's are about $.01 per page. Even less, if you get a 12 pack for $12.99.)
over time I realized that I just needed a Wheelbook, just like I had in the Military.
Basically, a durable, pocket-sized memorandum notebook to help keep track of your "To-do List."
It never occurred to me that these notebooks would be available to the general public.
They are Government issued. Usually that means you can't buy them as a civilan.
I searched the Internet and found out I was wrong!
They can be bought! Even the pens that were issued!
So I did! Very Excited!
So here's my review.

Here's some specifications:
*Each memo book includes 144 ruled pages that are stitched together.
*Each page is 1/4" narrow ruled.
*Green cover is made of faux leather with stitching detail.
*Flexible cover with rounded corners.
*Does not include an index or numbered pages.
*Top bound memorandum books are made using a minimum of 30 percent post-consumer recycled material and meet JCP-D10.
