We are proud to announce the arrival of a female snow leopard cub, born on 10th May, weighing a healthy 630g at her first check-up at 5 days old! Fondly nicknamed “Little Lady” by the team, mum and cub are doing brilliantly so far, with all signs pointing to a happy and healthy cub.

This is Laila’s fourth litter here at the Sanctuary, with breeding partner Yarko. Their impact on the Endangered Species Breeding Programme has been truly outstanding, and we couldn’t be prouder.

With fewer than 4,000 - 7,000 snow leopards left in the wild, every cub born helps to preserve the future of snow leopards.
