Описание к видео Lochaber No More: The Story of The Prince's Cairn at Loch nan Uamh.

Paul Macdonald tells the story behind the first cairn erected by The 1745 Association at Loch nan Uamh in 1956, marking the place where Prince Charles Edward Stuart sailed from Scotland on September 20th 1746. Paul describes the role the Loch played earlier in the Rising of 1745 from the time the Prince landed there in July 1745, and how the Prince's rescue 14 months later was effected. In his talk, Paul also describes the discovery in 2020 of the Sandig hoard of weapons and coin, believed to have come off the Mars and the Bellone and hidden in May 1746.
