The J160's top end presence was captured through John's Vocal Mic. When John sings, the compressor ducks the volume making his acoustic inaudible. When he stops singing, the compressor releases the volume and his acoustic can be heard again. I'm not sure if his acoustic was plugged in or not, I captured a bit of Ac30 just in case which helped fill out the sound. I did sing the song and remove my vocals so you may hear some breathing, but this allowed me to hit the compressor the same way.

George's part was recorded on his Gretsch Duo Jet and sent into the chamber. Paul's Hofner is quiet wet too. Ringo copies the original Arthur Alexander arrange of the song on his Ludwigs, he also adds the hi hat in the bridge which is nice.
