Backpacking and Fly Fishing Leavitt Meadows to Lower Piute Meadows

Описание к видео Backpacking and Fly Fishing Leavitt Meadows to Lower Piute Meadows

I went on an overnight solo backpacking trip on a trail that follows the West Walker River upstream. I wanted to get close to the headwater for some solitude and fly fishing. This river changes so much as you get closer and closer to its source. I'm actually curious to explore the actual source which I think might be about 6 more miles from where I stopped. The hike wasn't too bad but the mosquitos at Piute Meadows were driving me insane. The fishing was really good if I didn't spook the fish. And I don't mind catching small fish, it's more about the experience of connecting with the wilderness that I enjoy. Thanks for watching. And enjoy the horse poop and bear poop clips at the end
