Why You CAN'T Add TRC20 To Metamask

The TRC20 network is quite heavily used due to its low transaction fees, but you can't add it to Metamask due to this reason.

Metamask only allows EVM-compatible networks on its platform, and the Tron network is not EVM-compatible.

You can consider using other wallets that support the TRC20 network instead.
