100 series LandCruiser/LX470 1998-2002 charcoal/evap canister replacement.

This video is a brief demonstration of the charcoal canister replacement for a 100 series LandCruiser/LX470 (earlier models). This is using the tundra replacement (part # 77740-34080). These charcoal canisters are reported to be the driving issue behind fuel vapor build up that can occur with steep elevation climbs at high ambient temperature. This occurred during a trip I had in Arizona/Utah two years ago and I wanted to address it. At the end of the video I talk about testing the new unit, I think this has solved the problem, but I couldn’t replicate the severe elevation change from a couple years ago though ambient temperatures were identical.

Addendum: Took a 2 week trip through the Rockies again during the summer. Very large elevation changes. Happy to report zero issues.
