Dr. Houston Wilson discussed navel orangeworm as a pest in California nuts, primarily pistachio. He discussed its origins in California and its basic biology and seasonal phenology. Modern management practices such as sanitation, biological controls, mating disruption, monitoring, and chemical controls were highlighted for navel orangeworm in pistachio.
