31 August 2024 marked the last day where SBS Transit will be operating the Boon Lay services which are under the Jurong West Package, which they have been doing so since 1973! And the change is because LTA has called for the bus package to be put up for tender, which SMRT has then won and has been awarded the Jurong West Package.

With this change of oeprators, we see those who had SBS Transit in the Jurong West region as a big part of their childhood, experience a new operator to serve them in the coming years!
