How to Calibrate Your Computer Screen for Photographers

So you have a camera that you have spent £/$ X,000's on. Yet you don't work on a calibrated computer screen. This video shows you how to calibrate your computer screen using an Apple Mac but it is the same for a PC as well.

Printing and not working on a calibrated screen? Screen calibration is a must for working with print profiles to ensure you are printing to a set standard. It will also save you money in ink and paper!

Editing your images to a professional standard or even an 'enthusiasts' standard is a complete waste of time & camera equipment unless you are editing on a correctly calibrated screen.

This video shows you how easy it is to calibrate for serious editing of your images.

Isn't it about time you purchased one piece of kit that IS ESSENTIAL? This video shows me calibrating with the Datacolor Spyder but the same workflow is carried out for other makes such as Colormunki or X-Rite i1 Display etc.

Some will offer ambient display monitoring but as I work in a controlled environment I do not use this option, as accuracy is better in controlled conditions.
