AAMAD Dance Centre presents ‘GHAZAL' : A Nawab's Mehfil Andaz Kathak performance during 19th Century , written by Daag Dehlavi -a great Urdu poet.
Kyon Churate Ho Dekh kar Aankhein,
Kar Chukken Mere Dil Main GharAankhein..

Through this Ghazal, performance has highlighted the essence of Mehfil Andaz of Kathak of Lucknow gharana during the19th Century. The dancers are admiring the Rasik (Connoisseurs) and saying: Why you are so restless ? What are you searching for ? Remember, wherever you go, whatever you found, your destination is my heart and you have to come back.

Choreography by Rani Khanum and performed by Artists of AAMAD Dance Centre, Delhi. This presentation is a part of Rang-e-Sukhan dance Production, Supported by Ministry of Culture, New Delhi.
