Job aids are one of the most misunderstood and underutilized tools in instructional design.

They’re often treated as an afterthought. Something simple. Something you throw together when you don’t have time to “do real training.”

But in the real world, job aids and performance support tools are often the best solution to a performance problem, especially when people are under pressure, short on time, or doing tasks they don’t need to memorize.

So, in this video, I’m breaking down:
