In this video, we explore two architectural projects that combine the philosophy of simple living and a deep connection to nature:
Henry David Thoreau’s cabin at Walden Pond and La Casa del Sapo in Zapotengo.
Thoreau, who lived in a small cabin for over two years, rediscovered the essential meaning of life, appreciated nature, and redefined his existence. The cabin became a symbol of transformation and inspiration for his fight against social issues.

Meanwhile, La Casa del Sapo reflects architecture rooted in local context, community, and responsibility for the future.
The project grew from intuition and created a space for unity, inclusion, and togetherness, where every element of the home contributes to a sense of peace and security.
From the two rocks facing the sea to the carefully selected eco-friendly materials, the house invites each of its inhabitants to adapt and grow within it.
