CARES, which stands for Community Assistance, Referrals, and Education Services, is a unique paramedicine program from our Fire Division that is dedicated to education, injury prevention, and building essential community partnerships to enhance the lives of our residents. Our paramedics go beyond their traditional emergency roles, providing community-based healthcare, educating residents on health care issues, and fostering valuable collaborations with local providers.
