Chinese Diesel Heater install Part 2.
In this video I install the 5KW Chinese diesel heater in the pickup canopy, or some call it a pickup cap. We take this truck all over the backcountry, overlanding, camping and needed a way to heat the living space. We had been using a My Buddy Heater but it caused a moisture problem as propane puts off nearly one gallon of water for every gallon of propane burned, ".81 gallon to be exact". We researched these Chinese diesel heaters and decide to give one a try. We love it!
Thought I would make a video so you could see how I installed one of these heaters in our pickup canopy. This is how I chose to install the heater and this video is for entertainment purposes only. I'm not a professional installer. You will need do your own research to see if this is an option for you. Consult the diesel heater owners manual and a professional installer if your in need of guidance with an installation.
