this is all my opinion on *very specifically the anxiety which stems from external validation. And how lack of expression (personally and interpersonally), honesty, and faith in the self leads to depression.

disciplined action does not only refer to things that are "productive", but things that allow new experience. something as simple as taking yourself out, or partaking in an enjoyable hobby is disciplined action. even if this means doing it alone, the intention is to break the cycle.

boundaries are as basic as communicating to someone how something made you feel. expressing your self includes being honest, whether it be gratitude, or feelings of mistreatment. transparency allows depth of connection. *having a mindset of gratitude allows you to focus on the things that bring you joy

will only resonate with some. every case is different
live for yourself, live for your own validation
