The global food industry is a major contributor to climate change, responsible for up to 30 percent of total global greenhouse gas emissions. Patrick Holden, founder of the Sustainable Food Institute and a dairy farmer in West Wales, shares his vision of how regenerative agriculture could make farming climate positive; reducing greenhouse gas emissions, restoring depleted land, capturing carbon, improving biodiversity, and transforming public health.

Working in harmony with nature will not only help us restore the health of the world's depleted soil, improving the critically low levels of soil fertility and biodiversity we see today, but will provide higher quality, more nutritious food at the same time as addressing concerns about global food security."
