UM Renegade Commando vs Royal Enfield Classic ,Compare and Specs

The UM Renegade Commando will derive its power from a 300cc, single-cylinder engine that is good for 27bhp. This powertrain will be mated a smooth-shifting 5-speed manual gearbox. UM Motorcycles that had unveiled its portfolio at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, will finally launch its first product - the UM Renegade Commando - at the upcoming edition of the Indian Auto Expo in February. The company is planning to launch the Renegade Commando cruiser in two variants.
The main rival of um renegade commando is Royal Enfield classic 350.
In September 2014, UM Motorcycles had signed a strategic joint venture with India-based electric two-wheel maker - Lohia Auto. Under the agreement, a new company named UML was formed with a 50-50 percent partnership between the two brands. UM Motorcycle is aiming to manufacture 1 lakh units/year at Lohia Auto's existing facility in Kashipur, Uttarkhand. The Miami based motorcycle maker also aims to utilise its Indian plant as an export hub.
The UM Renegade Commando will derive its power from a 300cc, single-cylinder engine that is good for 27bhp. This powertrain will be mated a smooth-shifting 5-speed manual gearbox. Though the global 2016 model of the Renegade Commando is available in two different powertrain options - a 149.4cc and a 223cc. While the former is good for 16.55bhp and 14.14Nm, the latter churns out 18bhp and 15.5Nm. Though there is no clarity if the company will bring in one of these two variants to India or not.

On ther hand we have Royal Enfield classic 350, with its aggressive sales numbers has outsold Harley Davidson worldwide and its product portfolio stands true to the testimony. The Classic 350 is a retro modern machine from the stables of Royal Enfield which has the authentic world war era styling coupled with modern technology like the 350cc UCE Engine. The bike churns out a massive 28 Nm of torque, making it ideal for long distance traveling. The Classic gives out a claimed mileage of 53 kmpl and is priced at INR 1.29 Lac, Ex showroom, New Delhi.
