Checking out Venus Flytraps in their NATIVE habitat

Описание к видео Checking out Venus Flytraps in their NATIVE habitat

Trip down to bogs of Eastern North Carolina in November of 2022. Usually this site is completely beautiful with bright yellow-green Sarracenia flava (North American pitcher plants) but they had already gone dormant as we approach winter.

Sites like this are very secret and only shared throughout a tight community for their protection.

Sorry for the poor quality and randomness of the video with little structure or explanation. My main goal was just to enjoy some time with my little family and friends, and bask in the gorgeous wildness of this natural land.

Thank you Dr. Brandon Huber for sharing your enthusiasm and botanical knowledge for carnivorous plants and all things horticulture.
