This week on the Thursday Market Update Nathan Hoover and I visited Collin Craven the owner of QW Furniture located at 1231 W Frontage Rd Highway, 52 NW, Rochester, MN 55901 for the grand opening at their new location on W Frontage Road.

QW Furniture is a Family-owned showroom carrying brand-name, Amish-made indoor & outdoor home furniture & accessories. In this new location, the showroom will feature hundreds of pieces of handcrafted Amish Furniture.

QW Furniture first opened in 1989, as 'Quality Woods Furniture' in Rochester, Minnesota, in a modest location on the corner of Broadway and Hwy 14. In a few short years, Quality Woods outgrew their original location. Over the next decade, several building additions and remodel projects ensued as the business continued to grow and required additional space.

In 2008, Quality Woods moved to a more prominent location along Highway 52 in Rochester. This store underwent many renovations as well, as the business continued to expand and grow.

In 2014, with the next generation waiting in the wings, the founder of Quality Woods decided it was time to retire, passing on the business to his son. The next generation continues to bring QW into a new era and expand the business even further, both locally and nationwide. During this shift into the new era, Quality Woods underwent a partial re-branding with an updated logo and name change to QW Furniture.

In 2019, it was evident that even more room was required to display the beautiful furniture that their customers look for. QW Furniture decided it was time to build a brand new showroom to accommodate both its customers and its growing team.

Now, fast-forward to 2022, the QW Team is excited to see this vision come to life and we can't wait to share it with you! We invite you to join us for our Grand Opening Celebration!
