Thousands of Korean workers demonstrated across the country on Monday afternoon for Labor Day.
They were out to show solidarity with labor movements in other countries for International Workers' Day.
According to the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions... some 30-thousand people across 15 major cities took to the streets.
They called for a rise in the minimum wage,... an end to irregular employment, reform of a system that favors family-controlled conglomerates... and other improvements in working conditions..
The rally in Seoul alone saw a turnout of twenty-thousand workers.
The group marched from a northern part of the city down to Gwanghwamun Square... downtown.
