How to embarrass yourself and why you need to | Dina Mishev | TEDxJacksonHole

Описание к видео How to embarrass yourself and why you need to | Dina Mishev | TEDxJacksonHole

Dina has spent her life embarrassing herself, but after a diagnosis of stage 3 breast cancer, her occasions for embarrassment sky rocketed. It was during cancer treatment that she realized embarrassment can have a higher purpose than turning cheeks red and armpits sweaty. In 2009 she set the Guinness World Record for the most vertical feet skied uphill by a woman in 24 hours.

Dina Mishev graduated from Northwestern University with degrees in math and economics. She immediately moved to Wyoming to meet Harrison Ford and learn how to ski. She works as a freelance writer and editor. Her stories regularly appear in The Washington Post. She edits Jackson Hole Magazine, Inspirato, and Range JH.
