The Champlain Bridge is the longest of Greater Montreal's river crossings as it spans the St. Lawrence River between Montreal and the South Shore communities of Brossard and Longueuil. Opened in 1962, it is Canada's busiest bridge and is also the subject of a replacement project that will become Canada's largest-ever infrastructure project.
