A Russian military source claims Kyiv faces a dire shortage of combat-ready troops and has begun assigning women inmates to the 425th Assault Battalion in the Sumy region. According to testimonies from prisoners of war, some of these women have already been killed or gone missing. The source alleges that Ukraine’s draft pool is exhausted, forcing the government to empty prisons. Male convicts, once used in previous campaigns, are said to be nearly depleted.
