Best Practices from DPHs Webinar

Part 2: Best Practices from Departments of Public Health (DPH) In the second session, representatives from six Departments of Public Health (DPHs) in Los Angeles, Sacramento, Tulare, Madera, San Luis Obispo, and San Francisco counties shared their work at the intersection of public health and homelessness. Strategies for overcoming common barriers and challenges, as well as opportunities to deepen local partnerships and cross-sector approaches, were discussed to improve outcomes for people experiencing homelessness. This session provided a key opportunity to learn how local DPHs have strengthened relationships and collaboration between their departments and local homeless care systems.
