How To Read The Beach. Fish on EVERY Cast (PINS)

Описание к видео How To Read The Beach. Fish on EVERY Cast (PINS)

Reading the beach for fishing involves understanding the structure of the shoreline and how fish behave in different areas.

Fish are often found near underwater structures like sandbars, drop-offs, rocks, or reefs. These features create currents and areas of shelter that attract fish.

Sandbars (shallow areas) can create "troughs" (deeper water) just beyond them, which are great spots for fish to congregate. Look for waves breaking on shallow sandbars—fish often linger just past these zones.

Fish are drawn to areas with current movement. Look for rip currents, where water moves quickly back out to sea. Fish often hide near these currents to ambush baitfish.

Fish behavior changes with the tides. During high tide, fish move closer to shore, while at low tide, they often retreat to deeper waters or seek out submerged structures.

Fish tend to be active during rougher surf, as the turbulence stirs up food sources like small fish, crabs, or shrimp.

If you spot schools of small baitfish near the shore, it’s a good sign that larger predator fish are nearby.

By understanding these factors, you can predict where fish might be feeding or hiding, increasing your chances of a successful catch.
