Ambient Live Session No. 1 - with Expressive-E-Osmose, Arturia Jup-8 V, Moog Minitaur, Bitwig Studio

Описание к видео Ambient Live Session No. 1 - with Expressive-E-Osmose, Arturia Jup-8 V, Moog Minitaur, Bitwig Studio

This is the very first of a (hopefully) long series of live sessions I want to play in the future.

The main idea of this series is that during a session, some synthesizers are played live, and additionally, the single instrument tracks from some of the previous sessions can be arbitrarily mixed in while playing—as original audio tracks or in a slightly changed way (with different synth or effect settings, transposed, with harmonic adaptions, delay effects, and similar things).

Due to this creation method, the distinct sessions in the series will be related in some way—especially the ones in near neighbouring generations.

As I already mentioned, this is the very first session of the very first series. So, I could not use any musical material from previous sessions while playing: this is the "seed" session of this series.
You can see this in the video by looking at the quite empty Bitwig Studio screen or at the fact that most faders and knobs of the Faderfox MIDI controllers are still not in use.
Therefore, this piece of music may be considered a little spare, minimalistic and kind of "meditational",... but let's see, you can be sure to find elements from this very session in the following ones.

Material of this session is reused in:
Session No. 2    • Видео
Session No. 3    • Ambient Live Session No. 3 - with Sla...
(two others are yet to come)

The session is played live but slightly mixed and mastered afterwards.
