Graduate School Application Workshop: Session 1 - Getting Started And Making A Plan

Описание к видео Graduate School Application Workshop: Session 1 - Getting Started And Making A Plan

Getting Started & Making A Plan | UR2PhD Graduate School Application Workshops for Computing Programs

This workshop is part of the UR2PhD program, a virtual program that aims to increase the number of quality undergraduate research opportunities and to close the gap between a first research experience and a successful PhD application for women and gender-marginalized groups.

The informative session intends to provide a broad introduction to the Graduate School Workshops for Computing Programs series. By the end of the session, students will have a better understanding of items required to submit a PhD application, what the application timeline looks like, what admissions committees review, and how PhD programs may be funded.

This is an ongoing series, and there will be more sessions offered later this fall. Upcoming sessions include: Highlighting Your Personal Experiences & Interests, Finding the Programs That Are Right for You, Writing a Strong Personal Statement, and more.

We encourage students to register for the series to learn more about specific application components. View the full schedule and register for the upcoming sections: https://cra-org.zoom.us/meeting/regis...
