Continuing from Part One, Amit Gupta shares his journey post the Lehman debacle and how he picked himself up to build afresh. Starting his own trading company and moving to Dubai, Amit has learned through experience the tricks of trade and trading.

He shares a few of those tricks in this conversation, albeit not everything, as he says, “Sab kuch thode hi bataenge”.

Amit joined Barclays right after Lehman’s collapse where he met a fellow Gupta who was soon to become his Co-Founder. Together they founded Gupta Brothers & Co. an inspired move considering Amit’s work history, and much like its source of inspiration, it ran into some technical issues, and they promptly changed the name to reflect a soaring enterprise, instead of a sinking one.

Thus, Altitude Trading was born. Through repeated practice and evidence, Amit has zeroed in on the tricks that make money for him, and you may hear a few of them if you listen closely and read between the lines.
