So - new UTAU I've been low-key working on for a while. Some of you may have seen some of the tests I've uploaded to my various social media. This is db-svs. As you might infer from the name and the lack of a mascot, db-svs is an avatarless UTAU, made for technical and testing purposes. My intention is to release him publicly to act as a "reference" vocal to help people make English voicebanks. Obviously, you can play with him like a regular UTAU too, just know that it's moreso designed with voicebank development in mind, and is meant to serve a number of purposes, which I'll get more into once its closer to being finished.

What you see here is db-svs's "Normal" voicebank. It has three pitches. It's a completely new voicebank from any of his previous ones, including the previous English ones I've shown. I am also currently working on a "Power", "Soft", and "Falsetto" voicebank, and am considering a couple of other tones too before releasing.

This voicebank is English only, though I do intend to record more languages in the future ( though they will be smaller in scale than the English voicebank ).

Regarding the cover - I've had this .ustx lying around finished for a while now, but I haven't really liked any voice I've used it with. I used it to test db-svs's new voicebank, and liked it enough that I decided to finish it as a full cover. db-svs's pronunciation is normally pretty sterile and ( deliberately ) not very expressive, but I ended up quite liking how he sounded here tuning around his pedantic phonemes.

Anyways, if you like db-svs, keep an eye out, since I'd like to release him relatively soon.
