“I started pursuing film composing late” & why it’s okay

Many of you know that I didn't realize I wanted to do film composing until I was in my early 20s. While I did have piano lessons growing up and attended orchestra concerts, I always felt like composing was for geniuses and child prodigies. Being self-taught didn't help my confidence either. 3 years after getting my first film scoring job in 2021, I feel like I'm finally starting to embrace where I am.
