I spent a few hours participating in the recent AA DX SSB Contest.. At first I was using an older radio, which is the U.S made TEN TEC Paragon from the late 1980s.. It has an excellent receiver but it does not have the modern DSP/NR technolgy.. It is very much an all analog radio.. As QRM gets higher, I switched to a modern day transceiver which is the Icom IC-7850.. Many thanks to the radio engineers who have over time, designed and produced better radios employing the current state of digital signal processing technology.. It has made the hobby more enjoyable.. 73 de YB0NSI..
