Drawing a Fluffy Cat with Coloured Pencils | Part 3 | Focus on the Face

Part 3 of drawing our Fluffy Cat and today we’ll be starting to fill out the face.

I’ll talk you through the colours I’m using, and have a bit of a chat about how I use different colours to build layers and tackle my light and dark areas. I’ll also point out a couple of the areas I found challenging when I created this drawing and give you an idea of how I approached them.

Caran D’Ache Luminance: French Grey 10%, French Grey 30%, Buff Titanium, Sepia 10%, Raw Umber 10%, Sepia 50%

Transferring Your Image
The best way to transfer your image onto Pastelmat is to use a projector, however you can use transfer paper to transfer. Simply lay the transfer paper under your image on top of your Pastelmat and trace around the outline.
