Asian Carp : High Stakes for the Great Lakes

This video was produced at Tufts University as part of the undergraduate research and media project in Environmental Biology (Bio 7) during the Fall 2014 semester. Each group has 4 members (a production manager, an artistic director, a science writer and a technical expert). Every member must engage in the science and be experts on the topic. Each group picks one of the suggested topics provided by the instructors or find their own and topic, with approval.

Individual responsibilities*
• Production Manager: to research audience and appropriate approach, to create a timeline, to schedule meetings, and to keep group on schedule
• Artistic Director: to find or create photos and video to be used, and ultimately to ensure that images match the tone of the story
• Science Writer: to take the collective knowledge and write the narrative. It is important that the information be factual but not so detailed as to lose the interest of the audience.
• Technical Expert: to master iMovie and to create the digital story.
