Toad the Wet Sprocket played "Something's Always Wrong'' at a show for the first time on May 28th, 1994 in Santa Barbara, CA. The song had been released earlier that week on Dulcinea, the band's fourth studio album. "Something's Always Wrong'' became the second single from the album that fall, where it would eventually crack the top 10 of Billboard's Alternative Airplay charts. It remains a standard part of Toad's concert setlists to this day. This particular rendition was recorded at Toe's Tavern in Santa Barbara, CA on September 19th, 1996 while Toad was preparing the songs for their fifth album, Coil.
