Welcome to my video on the top 10 paintings of all time. This list is based on personal opinion, and there are plenty of other famous paintings that one could add to their own list.
1) Leonardo Da Vinci's Mona Lisa (c. 1503-1506, oil on panel, Renaissance, 30 x 21 inches) is a portrait painting that is known for its enigmatic smile and subtle use of perspective.
2) Da Vinci's Last Supper (1495-1498, fresco, Renaissance, 15 x 29 feet) is a mural painting depicting the final meal shared by Jesus and his disciples before his arrest and crucifixion.
3) Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night (1889, oil on canvas, Post-Impressionism, 29 x 36 inches) is an iconic piece that captures the beauty and movement of the night sky.
4) Edvard Munch's The Scream (1893, tempera on cardboard, Expressionism, 36 x 28 cm) is a representation of the human condition and the anxieties of the modern world.
5) The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli (c. 1486, tempera on canvas, Early Renaissance, 69 x 109 cm) is a famous painting depicting the goddess Venus emerging from the sea as a fully-formed woman.

8) Diego Velazquez's Las Meninas (1656, oil on canvas, Baroque, 318 x 276 cm) is a portrait painting that is considered one of the most important works of Spanish art.
9) George Seurat's La Grande Jatte (1884, oil on canvas, Post-Impressionism, 81 x 121 cm) is a pointillist painting that is known for its use of small dots of color to create a larger image.
10) Rembrandt's The Night Watch (1642, oil on canvas, Baroque, 363 x 437 cm) is a group portrait painting that is known for its use of light and shadow.
11) The Sistine Chapel (Creation of Adam) by Michelangelo (1508-1512, fresco, High Renaissance, 12 x 12 feet) is a fresco painting that depicts the creation of Adam by God.
