Montessori Broad Stair|Brown Stair

The broad stair also known as The brown stair is a Montessori Sensorial Exercise. The broad stair consists of ten brown wooden prisms varying in depth and width but all are the same length. The smallest prism is one centimeter and the largest prism is one decimeter square💢

The approximate age for this exercise is from 2.5 - 3 years onwards💢

Before presenting the exercise to the child, the child should have been introduced to early practical life exercises. The child should have achieved considerable hand dexterity and also worked with the Pink Tower💢

Use the three period lesson to teach the child the vocabulary in the exercise.
Broad - Narrow
Broad - Broader - Broadest
Narrow - Narrower - Narrowest💢
