Full Day Ultimate Pilanesberg National Park Safari from Johannesburg | MoAfrika Experience & Review

If you watched my last video of my review for Ethiopian Airlines and their business class, then you know that my mom and I took a mother-daughter trip to South Africa. Our second activity was doing a full day safari at Pilanesberg National Park. We booked our tour with MoAfrika Tours via Viator. Total cost for 2 persons was about 300 USD, and I’d say it was money well spent. While the pickup, drive to and from the park, and drop off were a bit long, it was worth it.

My mom and I both had good fun on this tour and learned a lot too. I for one, thought the Big 5 included giraffes and zebras, but our guide reminded us which animals are considered the true Big 5. Turns out that I was just more excited to see them than all of the real Big 5 lol.

Oh! One thing I wanted to mention but couldn’t fit in the video is that there were a lot of people touring the park in their cars by themselves or with family without a guide. So if you’re renting a car and don’t want to go with a tour guide, you can totally do it yourself.

Shoutout to our guide Benny – such an amazing, knowledgeable and professional person. There was not one question he could not answer, and I appreciate the work he does at the park.
