WORKING THE EMERALD MINES OF OTANCHE, COLOMBIA

In this vlog, I literally went into an emerald mine where my guide and I picked away in search of emeralds. I was given a tour of a region of Boyaca, Colombia which is said to have the best quality emeralds in the world.

In the pueblito where we started off, people were selling and buying emeralds. The tour with Didier was very informative and quite an interesting adventure to a beautiful region of Colombia that I had never visited before.
