Realme GT 7 Pro FIRST LOOK - FLAGSHIP DISPLAY!

Realme GT 7 Pro is set to launch in the Chinese market next month and the company has shared the official images and videos of the device, giving us our first look. The phone is coming with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC and an impressive display.

Realme GT 7 Pro is the company’s upcoming premium flagship phone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and recently, the brand announced that this phone would be the first to launch in India with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. We now have our official first look at the device, as the images were shared by the company on Weibo. These images reveal the phone in various color options.

Realme GT 7 Pro is launching in at least three color options – Orange, Black, and White. Unlike the Realme GT 6, which featured a dual-tone design on the back, the Realme GT 7 Pro has a pretty clean and minimal design language. There is a square camera module in the top left corner with a triple camera setup. The camera module says “HYPERIMAGE+”. The frame is flat, and the antenna lines mean it is a metal frame.

There is a micro quad-curved display on the front with symmetrical bezels and a hole punch cutout in the middle.

Realme GT 7 Pro has an interesting display. It has an Eco² OLED display made by Samsung, and the peak brightness goes up to 2000 nits in the high-brightness mode, the highest in any smartphone. In HDR playback, the peak brightness can go up to 6000 nits. For the first time on a flat-screen phone, we will get hardware-level full-brightness DC-like dimming.

This is the world’s first display with non-polarized natural light eye protection tech. The panel features a 120% DCI-P3 color gamut, and it is an 8T LTPO display. Finally, the phone features an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint scanner by Qualcomm.

According to Digital Chat Station, the phone packs a massive 6,500mAh battery and supports 120W wired charging. Still, the thickness of the phone is around 8.5mm. Moreover, the weight of the phone is lower than the previous generation, meaning around 200g. This is impressive, considering the Realme GT 6 (China) featured a 5,800mAh battery and the weight was above 200g.

Well, the design and features of the Realme GT 7 Pro are impressive, so let’s see at what price the phone is launched. For comparison, the Realme GT 6 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 was launched in China at ¥2799 (~$400).
