Cycling the USA - 600 Miles through Texas // A Bike Touring Short Film // Part 13 - Texas, USA

Ever since we decided to cycle across the US we knew that crossing Texas would be a daunting and challenging part of our journey. And especially in the weeks leading up to the border to Texas we were getting more and more nervous about our upcoming endeavor.

We really didn’t know what to expect and were a bit intimidated & demotivated by what we had heard and read. But what awaited us in Texas really blew us away!

We met some of the most open-minded, travelled and generous people of our trip so far here, had great laughs, some agony and truly unique experiences. Even the vast emptiness everyone had “warned” us about turned out to be a refreshing change to the urban areas we’d experienced before.

Once again, this was an important reminder for us not to judge a place without having been there...
