Official Launch of the Islamic Standard Form of Building Contract (i-SFC) 2024

The Official Launch of the Islamic Standard Form of Building Contract (i-SFC) 2024 took place on 18th January 2024.

The launch kicked off with special remarks by the AIAC’s Director, Datuk Sundra Rajoo who commended the efforts of the Steering Committee for their utmost dedication and diligence in drafting the current i-SFC.

Thereafter, Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi delivered the keynote remarks where he emphasised the significance of AIAC’s i-SFC to the construction industry such as the economic benefits, and the paradigm shift a Shariah compliance contract marks in the construction industry. Tun Dato’ Seri Zaki bin Tun Azmi then accompanied Tun Mohamed Raus Bin Sharif to officiate the event.

The event then proceeded to the first session titled "Shariah in Construction: Overview and Potential of Shariah Usage in Construction Industry".
