A good rule of thumb is to place the center of your art at about 57 to 60 inches from the floor, which is eye level for most people. If you’re hanging art above furniture, like a sofa or console table, aim to keep the bottom of the frame about 6 to 8 inches above the piece. This helps your artwork feel connected to the furniture and grounded in the space, rather than floating too high up the wall. Hanging it at the right height makes everything look more balanced and intentional!
