In the second song of the Gems of Nazrul Project, “O Bhai Khati Sonar Cheye Khati”, National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam paints a vivid picture of the idyllic beauty of the rural landscape of this country with the use of striking imagery, but also celebrates the time-honoured rich traditions and teachings of this land in a sincere, soulful tribute.
Gems of Nazrul, conceptualized by Nazrul Award-winning singer and journalist Sadya Afreen Mallick, plans to make Nazrul heard at all levels across the globe. The music for the song has been directed by Tanveer Alam Shawjeeb, with the video produced by Pinhole Films. The video was sponsored by Dhaka Bank.
