E. Krajnyák - Rule of Law in the Conditionality Mechanism

The conference brings together the Members of the Central European Professors’ Network Research Group on the Supranational Interpretation of the Rule of Law, operating under the coordination of Dr. János Bóka, Ph.D. (Ministry of EU Affairs, Hungary) under the aegis of the Central European Academy. The aim of the conference is to present the outcomes of the research project, which will be presented in the form of a scientific monograph in the spring of 2024. The conference addresses the interpretation of the rule of law, its enforcement procedures, and the sanction systems of various supranational institutions, including the Council of Europe, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the United Nations, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and, in particular, the European Union. The conference also aims to engage in the scientific dialogue on the process of the supranationalization of the concept of the rule of law and its relevance for Central European countries.
