We are excited to debut the music video for “Change Everything”, written, produced, and recorded by MEJC volunteers.

Some words from songwriter Knicole Breckman about the inspiration behind the song:
"I wrote this song before COVID happened, but I think it’s equally if not more relevant now.
The chorus goes “Change everything, be more human, time for a new deal.”
We need to make drastic changes to our systems to address climate change and social injustice. We have seen that things governments once said were impossible can be done virtually overnight. No more excuses- we need action on climate change now.
When I first wrote this, I wondered if the “be more human” part would make sense to people. But in this moment we see that prioritizing the wellbeing of all people, and the planet, is a choice to be humane, to prioritize people over profit.
We have an opportunity for a just and green recovery. It’s our time for a green new deal."
