Day 9 is focused on acclimatisation in Namche Bazaar. We visit the Tenzing Norgay Museum and Statue, pay respects at the Polish Climbers Memorial, and ascend 400m to the Mount Everest View Hotel. On the way, we stop at the SPCC (Sagarmatha Pollution Control Committee) to learn about preserving the mountains and experience Everest virtually through VR. After tea at the hotel, we rush back to Namche due to worsening weather, ending the day exploring town and preparing for the journey ahead.
