Replacing your Dyson Pure Cool™ Link desk purifier fan's 360° Glass HEPA filter takes less than 60 seconds, as shown in our video guide. And this only needs to be done after 12 months, when used 12 hours a day.

The LED display on the base of the machine will show you when the filter needs to be changed. If you have chosen to receive filter life notifications from the Dyson Link app, these will also let you know when the filter needs replacing. If you have the Dyson Link app but have opted not to receive notifications, you will find this information within the app.

Step 1. Always switch 'OFF' and unplug before carrying out any maintenance.
Step 2. Press both catches on either side of the loop amplifier at the same time and lift off.
Step 3. Lift off the filter assembly. Remove the filter from the shroud and dispose of in a household waste bin. Do not throw away the filter shroud.
Step 4. Open the sensor hatch on the side of the machine. Use a cotton swab to carefully clean inside.
Step 5. Refit the sensor hatch ensuring in clicks shut.
Step 6. Carefully remove the new filter from any packaging.
Step 7. Place the new filter inside the shroud and lower both parts into the main body.
Step 8. Locate the loop amplifier onto the main body ensuring it clicks into place.
Step 9. When you have re-assembled your machine, plug the machine back in and press the standby ON/OFF button.
Step 10. Press and hold the standby ON/OFF button on the remote for 6 seconds.
Step 11. Once the loading pattern is complete, the machine will return to its normal usage.
