हेमकुंड लोकपल क्षेत्र में ब्रह्मकमल की बगिया खिली हुई है।समुद्र तल से 4329 मी पर ये फूल खिले है।ब्रह्मकमल माँ नंदा और भोलेनाथ
को काफी प्रिय है।इसके अलावा ब्रह्मकमल फूलों की घाटी, कागभुसुंडिताल,वासुकी ताल, नंदी कुंड, रूप कुंड भगुवासा,छिपला केदार सहित समुद्र तल से 4 हजार मीटर की ऊँचाई पर मिलते है।हिमालय में ब्रह्मकमल की कई अन्य प्रजातियां भी पाई जाती है जिनमे फेन कमल,सूर्य कमल,नील कमल आदि प्रमुख है।

Brahma Kamal is called the King of Himalayan Flowers and is also the state flower of Uttarakhand. The flower is highly valued in Tibetan medicine and Ayurveda for its healing properties.
